Cheers to 20 years, TPT. 🥂 Putting this carousel together felt a little like opening a time capsule. The chevron. 😂 My first resources. My daughter sitting at my classroom table modeling activities for me, who is somehow a junior in high school now. And now I have another tiny model testing out my newest ideas. 💕 Somewhere along the way, this became so much more than making resources. My teaching expanded beyond the walls of my own classroom. I had opportunities to learn, grow, collaborate and present. I met incredibly talented women who love teaching and creating just as much as I do… and, even better, women who made room at the table for one another. My family grew. My life changed. My resources changed a LOT. (Again…the chevron. 😂) And then there is this number: 440,480 resources sold. I don’t think that number will ever feel normal to me. Because those aren’t just downloads. They’re morning lessons, centers, science experiments, crafts spread across classroom tables, field trips, little hands cutting and gluing, teachers trying something new, and kids learning with something I once sat at my computer and dreamed up. That is what gets me.🥹 To every teacher who has purchased a resource, left a review, followed along, shared my work, sent me a classroom picture, messaged me, or trusted one of my ideas with your students: THANK YOU MORE THAN WORDS COULD EVER SAY. And thank you, TPT, for creating a place where teachers can share what works, learn from one another, and turn classroom ideas into something that can reach children far beyond our own classrooms.
