I TRULY love creating a beautiful classroom. I lov I TRULY love creating a beautiful classroom. I love making a space that feels warm, welcoming, and exciting for kids. And trust me - I’ll go overboard on it too. But I’ve also learned that there has to be a limit. If we’re pouring every ounce of our time, money, and emotional energy into our classrooms, eventually there’s nothing left for ourselves…or for the children sitting in front of us. A beautiful classroom is wonderful. But a teacher who has rested, eaten lunch, protected her weekend, enjoyed her summer, and still has the emotional energy to love her students… That’s even better.
